Hi Barracudas,

another great meet yesterday with lots of best times and a win over our friends at Exeter! We are so proud of all of our swimmers, parents and volunteers!

Hard to believe but we are already more than halfway through the season. As we enter July and the holiday week, please see below important notes:

- We have only 1 AWAY meet this week on Saturday 7/6/24 at Evergreen Meadows. Deadline to sign-up for Saturday is Wednesday 7-3. We have a couple of JOBS that still need to be filled PLEASE.

- We only have practices Monday through Wednesday. We are OFF Thursday & Friday!

- We have our End-of-Season Team Party on Saturday, 7-20 from 5-8pm at our pool. Please RSVP (by 7/13) so we can plan. Come get your awards, enjoy great food and have a fun time celebrating the season!

- Please check your volunteer hours! If you need help finding slots, please contact Lisa. As a reminder, we will collect $20 per hour missed (so up to $280) this season.

- Our second Mini meet is coming up on Monday 7/8 at our pool -- come cheer on our minis!

- Make sure to check our growing Lost & Found collection!

- Pick up your hard-earned ribbons! Box will be at practice!

- We will reach out directly to families about their spirit wear orders! We apologize, but the vendor had another delay. We are very frustrated and very sorry! 

- If you are interested, the league posts top 40 rankings twice a week!

Weekly Shoutout:

- Congrats to Luke Riley who broke the Boys 6&u 25 breaststroke team record at the meet on Saturday - again!

- We also have our next All Stars qualifier: Joey Sverchek in 25 breaststroke! Way to go! Many more of our swimmers are so close! Keep up the good work Barracudas!

Coaches' Corner

This past week of swimming was amazing! We had so many great swims versus Willowsford and a super fun away meet across the street with Exeter! We have earned a much deserved little break from the pool. We hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July evening and sleeps in on Friday. Please do not forget we still have practice on Wednesday morning even though we do not have a meet Wednesday night. We will see you at Evergreen Meadows on Saturday morning, rested and ready to swim fast!!! This will be one of 3 dual meets left of the regular season. If you have any questions about Divisionals or All-Stars please reach out to the coaches. End of season swimming can be confusing! We are all so proud of the Barracudas! Keep up the hard work!
