Volunteer Requirements
Swim is a sport that runs on volunteers! Unlike other sports, we cannot run meets without the help of all our families.
Each family is responsible for a certain number of volunteer hours. This is calculated by our website through a points based system. Each job will be assigned a point value, determined by the time and effort it requires. Points can be earned at both away and home meets. We will determine the number of points required before the start of the season and communicate this to the members at the mandatory parent meeting in May. In years past, the requirement has been about 12 hours (or 3 meets worth) of time, and we anticipate a similar number this season. If you do not meet your family's point obligation you will be charged a fee of $20 per point not fulfilled.
