Hi all,

We are having our next general session meeting on March 11th, 2025 at 7:30pm. All members are welcome but it is not mandatory.

• We will be sharing information about registration, evals,  team store and other season dates
  • Registration:
    Early registration opens on March 21^st at 8am. It will close on April 30^th 10pm. To receive a team T-shirt with your swimmer’s name(s), please register by April 30^th. Especially our Mini Barracudas fill up quickly, so we suggest registering early. Once we are at capacity (15 swimmers) you will need to contact us to be added to the waitlist.
    Mini Team:
    If you were a mini last year and have not been informed otherwise, you need to attend an evaluation. We currently have two dates planned, Sunday, March 23rd and Saturday, April 5th.
    Team Suits & Team Store:
    
    • We have partnered with SwimOutlet this year as the one-stop shop for our team suits, caps and fan gear. Store can be accessed here or from our website.
    • We will have a new team suit with our logo this season, and the store offers a couple of options at different price points. We HIGHLY encourage team suits this season! You can purchase these at your convenience and they will ship directly to your home. Take advantage of one of SwimOutlet's frequent sales!
    • Note, since these are customized suits, they cannot be returned. We have ordered “fit kits” and will offer a couple of try-on dates if you are unsure about sizing.
    • Spirit wear can also be easily ordered through the store and delivered to your house.
    • We will offer customized caps – stay tuned for the order dates (it’s limited to a 2 week timeframe)
    Schedule & Events:
    
    • Please visit our website frequently for most current information, and check out the calendar for meetings, team parties, meets and practices. We will keep it as updated as possible.
    • The dates for meets have been finalized, but we won’t know the locations until April.
    • Practice times are expected to be very similar to last seasons, but won’t be finalized until after early registration closes.
    Coaches:
    We are very excited to welcome Coaches Jill and Adam Orton back as our head coaches this summer. We are currently looking for a new Assistant coach. The application can be found on our website.
    Chair Positions:
    
    • We are looking to fill a couple of NEW chair positions. This is a great way to complete your volunteer hours outside of volunteering at meets.
    • NEW: Sponsorship chair -- help us find sponsors to support our team
    • NEW: Events Chair -- help us organize spirit themes, team parties and more
    • Other chair positions may open up once we know if last year's chairs return
    • Volunteer requirements will be announced at the Parent Meeting in May and that is when volunteer spots will open up.
    Officials:
    
    • Once registration opens, we will contact our officials from last year to confirm their status.
    • ODSL will offer several training sessions to anyone interested in becoming a NEW official, anyone who has to recertify and/or wants to attend additional training
    • We always love having a solid roster of officials. NEW officials will receive one free registration per family, recertified officials will receive 50% off. It's a great deal!
