Coaches' Corner
Congratulations Barracudas on a great first dual meet of the season! It was great to see so many swimmers race what they have been practicing at practice!
The coaches want to remind everyone that swimming is a team sport. When your swimmer doesn’t swim in a meet they were declared for it impacts the team negatively. Relays may have to be scratched or altered that disrupt and take away from the focus of the meet. Everyone please remember that when you declare your swimmer for individual events you have the option to opt out of relays. We all hope families will stay for relays, it is the most fun part of swimming! But we do understand it may not work out on some days.
We understand emergencies happen and kids get sick. If your swimmer is unable to participate in the meet, please text Coach Jill at 703-963-3919! The earlier we know the better we can plan!
Fins!!! They are so important and we do utilize them! Please make sure your swimmer has their fins at practice!
Looking forward to our first full week of swimming and meets this week!!! Coaches Jill, Adam
See you at the pool!
Tina Johnson
