Hi Barracudas Families,

We’re almost there, but we still need one more person to step up and apply for the Parent Liaison position on our Board for 2027-29.

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved with the team, this is honestly one of the easiest ways to do it. The Parent Liaison role has very little commitment during the off-season, and the responsibilities during the swim season are very manageable. It’s a great way to get involved, meet more families and help keep our team running—without taking on one of the more time-intensive Board positions.

Most importantly, we need to fill this position in order to have a swim team next year.

If we are unable to fill the Parent Liaison position by our meeting at the end of this month, we will have to put planning for the 2027 season on hold. We really don’t want to get to that point, especially when we are just one volunteer away from having the Board positions we need.

Please consider stepping up! You do not need prior Board or swim experience, and the current Board will be here to help you get started.
